1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Master. These Terms of Service ('Terms') constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User', 'Customer', 'You') and Master ('Company', 'We', 'Us', 'Our'), the owner and operator of www.masterindia.in ('Website').
By accessing the Website, browsing products, creating an account, placing an order, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Website and its services.

Master is a brand engaged in the manufacture and online sale of premium cookware, pressure cookers, gas stoves, mixer grinders, and related kitchen appliances and spare parts. The Website is an e-commerce platform through which customers across India can browse, select, and purchase Master products.

3. User Eligibility & Account
3.1 Eligibility
To use our Website and purchase products, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally competent to enter into contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration and checkout.
• Not be barred from receiving services under any applicable law or regulation.
3.2 Account Registration
You may browse the Website without creating an account. However, to place orders, track purchases, and access warranty services, you are encouraged to register an account. When registering, you agree to:

3.3 Account Suspension or Termination
Master reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if you:
• Provide false or misleading information during registration or checkout.
• Engage in fraudulent activity, including placing fake orders or filing false return/refund claims.
• Repeatedly cancel COD orders or refuse delivery without valid reason.
• Violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law.
4. Products & Pricing
4.1 Product Information
We make every effort to display product descriptions, images, specifications, and dimensions as accurately as possible. However:
• Colours may vary slightly due to monitor or screen settings and photographic lighting conditions.
• Product specifications are subject to change without notice due to manufacturing improvements or regulatory requirements.
• All weights and dimensions mentioned are approximate and may have minor variations.
If a product differs materially from its description, your sole remedy is to return it in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
4.2 Pricing & GST
All prices on the Website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed in your Order Confirmation email.
Master reserves the right to correct pricing errors or typographical mistakes, even after an order has been placed. In such cases, we will notify you and provide the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
4.3 Promotional Codes & Offers
Promotional discount codes are subject to the following conditions:
• Valid only for the period, products, and minimum order value specified in the promotion.
• Non-transferable and, unless explicitly stated, non-combinable with other discount codes or offers.
• Subject to a maximum usage limit per customer, device, or account.
• Void if obtained or shared through unauthorised means or in violation of these Terms.
• Master reserves the right to withdraw or modify any promotional offer at any time without prior notice.
5. Orders & Contract of Sale
5.1 Formation of Contract
When you place an order on www.masterindia.in, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s) at the listed price. A binding contract of sale is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation email or SMS acknowledging acceptance of your order.
Master reserves the right to reject or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to:
• Product unavailability or stock-out after order placement.
• Suspected fraudulent transaction or misuse of payment instruments.
• Incorrect pricing due to a technical or human error.
• Delivery address outside our serviceable area.
• Failure of payment authorisation by your bank or payment provider.
In case of cancellation by us, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
5.2 Order Modifications & Cancellations
Orders may be modified or cancelled before dispatch. Once dispatched, modifications cannot be guaranteed. To cancel or modify an order, contact Customer Support immediately or use the 'Cancel Order' option in your account. For full cancellation terms, refer to our Return & Refund Policy.
5.3 GST Invoice
A GST-compliant tax invoice will be issued for every confirmed order and shared via email or made available in your account dashboard. This invoice serves as proof of purchase for warranty claims, returns, and consumer forum complaints.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Accepted Payment Methods
Master accepts the following payment methods on www.masterindia.in:
• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and other UPI-enabled apps)
• Credit Cards and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express)
• Net Banking (all major Indian banks)
• EMI — on eligible cards, subject to the terms of your issuing bank
• Cash on Delivery (COD) — subject to order value limits and pin code serviceability
6.2 Payment Security
All online payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Master does not store your full card details, CVV, or bank account numbers. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorised to use the payment instrument and that the information provided is accurate and complete.
6.3 COD Terms
For COD orders, payment must be made in full in cash at the time of delivery to the delivery executive. Refusing payment at delivery without valid reason, or repeated COD cancellations, may result in the COD option being restricted or removed for your account. 7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership
All content on www.masterindia.in - including the 'Master' brand name and logo, product names (Titan Pro, Superior Plus, HotStar, Magnum Pro, Smart, Popular, Wonder, Stenova, Vitamix, Charly Pro, Slice, etc.), product photographs, videos, descriptions, website design, graphics, and text - is the exclusive intellectual property of Master or its licensors, protected under:
• The Trade Marks Act, 1999
• The Copyright Act, 1957
• The Patents Act, 1970 (where applicable)
• All other applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws
7.2 Restrictions
No content from this Website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, broadcast, modified, adapted, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Master. Unauthorised use may result in civil and criminal liability under Indian law.
7.3 User-Generated Content
If you submit product reviews, photographs, feedback, or other content on our Website or social media pages, you grant Master a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, and display such content in any medium for promotional and business purposes. You represent that you hold all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to use the Website or its services for any of the following purposes:
• Placing fraudulent, speculative, or fake orders, or providing false personal or payment information.
• Using another person's payment instrument without their explicit authorisation.
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers, or databases.
• Scraping, crawling, or extracting product data, pricing, images, or content using automated tools or bots.
• Posting false, defamatory, misleading, or spam reviews or feedback.
• Unauthorised commercial resale of Master products purchased through this Website.
• Circumventing security, authentication, or access-control measures on the Website.
• Using the Website in any manner that violates applicable Indian or international law.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account termination, cancellation of pending orders, and initiation of legal proceedings under applicable Indian law.
9. Warranties & Disclaimers
9.1 Product Warranty
Master products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, the terms of which vary by product and are detailed at www.masterindia.in/pages/warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects arising under normal use conditions and does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, physical impact, voltage fluctuations, or failure to follow the instruction manual.
Pressure cookers bearing BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification must be used strictly in accordance with ISI standards and the accompanying instruction manual to maintain warranty validity.
9.2 Website Disclaimer
The Website and all content therein are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Master makes no warranty, express or implied, that:
• The Website will be continuously available, error-free, or free from interruptions.
• All product information, prices, and stock availability are completely accurate at all times.
• The Website is free from viruses, malware, or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Master disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, in relation to the Website and its content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, Master’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Website shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall Master be liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill).
• Damages arising from your reliance on inaccurate product information or pricing errors on the Website.
• Delays or non-delivery caused by logistics partners, natural disasters, or government restrictions beyond our control.
• Unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain credential security.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other mandatory Indian law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Master, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
• Your breach of any provision of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right (including intellectual property rights).
• Your use of the Website in a manner not authorised by these Terms.
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Website or our social media channels.
12. Third-Party Links & Services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including payment gateways, logistics tracking portals, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), and catalogue platforms. These links are provided for convenience only. Master does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, availability, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website or service. Your use of any third-party service is at your sole risk and subject to that party's own terms and policies.
13. Force Majeure
Master shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of obligations under these Terms caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government-imposed restrictions, internet or power outages, or failure of third-party service providers. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any such event and resume performance when conditions permit.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14.2 Consumer Dispute Redressal
As a consumer purchasing for personal use, you have the right to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:
• District Commission — For claims up to Rs. 1 Crore.
• State Commission — For claims between Rs. 1 Crore and Rs. 10 Crore.
• National Commission — For claims exceeding Rs. 10 Crore.
Online complaints may be filed at the E-Daakhil portal: edaakhil.nic.in. Nothing in these Terms restricts or waives your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian law.
14.3 Arbitration (B2B / Non-Consumer Disputes)
For disputes between Master and non-consumer users (e.g. B2B partners, institutional buyers, resellers), the parties agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Bangalore, India. The language of proceedings shall be English.
14.4 Jurisdiction
For disputes not resolved through consumer forums or arbitration, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at Bangalore, India.
15. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Master has designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints:

17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect and shall not be affected by such invalidity or unenforceability.
